Let me tell you, it was one unforgettable game. Let’s get past the first half…
Second half was a must-see! Everyone who thought there were no football in Estonia can now rest easy. It’s not that the Flora lost today, it’s that the Infonet won.
How did they do it?
Head Coach Aleksandr Pushtov: “I believe we chose the right tactics and did not let the result of the first half speak for the quality of our game. We adopted a positive mindset, equalizing after being down 0:2. I would call the third goal our reward for the team’s desire to fight to the end”.
How did we score?
Alexander Bebikh (48 m, 74m): “I scored the first goal after corner pass. Nikita Martynov’s skillful header made it easier for me to strike. Second goal happened thanks to Zhenja Gurchioglujants taking over the possession of the ball from Flora’s defender”.
Maxim Lipin (87m): “I’m very happy to be the one to score the winning goal. It was a strike from my heart and it worked. I was able to see the new level of play of our team, if we keep it up, we’ll be able to “solve” much more difficult games. This was my first time on the country’s main soccer field, I’m confident I will remember it forever”.
A simple story, just like many genius things in life are. One can feel the sadness for the Flora players, who are now really upset. Irakly Logua: “We scored twice in the first half. Everything was going fine. Second half was as if the team was secretly replaced, one goal against us, then second one, then the third… Don’t know what to say. Can say for myself I played one hundred percent”.
How were the fans?
What initially was the little “fire” in our childish Fan-sector then turned into a real bonfire, absorbing every fan at the stadium. Players thanking their fans for support were greeted with standing ovations.
To summon it up – respect!
