Let others write about the game. We would like to highlight the ones on the bleachers.
Number one today was the fan club of Kalev Sillamae, undoubtedly the best fan club in the whole of Estonia. As professionals, they put out one hundred percent. Great job! Respect!
FC Infonet are new to the highest league and are not half bad. It is also a debut for the Infonet fans. Who are they? Anyone: young and old, girls and boys, and their parents. Somebody watches soccer match for a first time, someone all their lives. They were all united today to be the “twelfth player” to support the team.
After the final whistle, when the crowds were roaring in celebration, I was able to interview one of the fans, Anja:
– Obviously, you were rooting for FC Infonet?
– Yes.
– How often do you go to watch soccer?
– This actively not until recently.
– Who did you come with?
– With my husband and friends. There are quite a few of us.
– Is your husband also a soccer player?
– No, he is a boxer, but he loves soccer.
– Why do you fancy this team?
– Because they seem active, emotional, and friendly. Don’t know what else, just like them.
– Did they make you proud today?
– Yes, of coarse. Beautiful victory, well done! I’ve grown really attached to them.
– What would you like to wish them?
– Best of luck moving on forward, to continue play beautifully, like today. To continue winning and to become shining stars of soccer.
